FINDING US

We meet at Sturminster Newton High School, just north of the town on the way to Gillingham, the Bath Road. Roads into the area include the A30, A31, A37 or A303. We are actually on the A3092 from Gillingham to Sturminster at the northern edge of the town.

We meet (usually) on the second weekend in February, the second weekend in May and the second or third weekend in October: on Saturdays between 2.0 pm and 7.45 pm and on Sundays between 10 am and 5.15 pm.

However you should check because occasionally meetings may occur outside this pattern. In particular please ask about the lunch arrangements, which are different at the May meeting.

Sturminster Newton High School is at the northern extremity of the town, on the “last road in town” 900 yards from the new town centre development on the old cattle market.

Enlarge the map first. For most travellers we suggest you locate Sturminster Newton, then the A3092 northward through the town. Follow north out of the town, locate the last turn to the right. That’s Honey Mead Lane. We’re on the corner.
